Research findings on immunization delivery costs from Vietnam, Tanzania, and Indonesia (Annette Ozaltin, Hoang Van Minh, Fatuma Manzi, Amila Megraini, Vittal Mogasale)

Annette Ozaltin ( has 15 years of experience in global health policy, health systems, and health financing. She has worked with various developmental organizations to design and implement policies and programs for health systems performance improvement in LMIC. At ThinkWell (@ThinkWellGlobal), Annette works on developing innovative solutions to health systems and financing challenges.

Hoang Van Minh ( is currently Deputy-Dean for research of the Hanoi School of Public Health. He specialises in epidemiology, biostatistics and health economics. He has particular interest in doing research about healthcare system capacities for the prevention and control of the rising burden of non-communicable diseases in Vietnam.

Fatuma Manzi ( is a Principal Scientist based at Ifakara Health Institute (@ifakarahealth) for over 16 years. She is a health system and policy analyst with experience leading health systems and policy research projects. Dr Fatuma also has a wide experience with programs on community health workers, human resources, quality improvement at district managerial level, health facilities and community level. 

Amila Megraini ( is a senior researcher at Universitas Indonesia, School of Public Health, and one of the leading members of the Center for Health Administration and Policy Studies (@fkmui @ui_cheps). Her expertise includes financial, quality, human resource management, Indonesia’s single payer system and the immunization, HIV/AIDS, and tobacco management programs

Vittal Mogasale ( is the head of the Policy and Economic Research Department at the International Vaccine Institute, Seoul, South Korea (@IVIHeadquarters). His current work involves development of global vaccine invest- ment cases, vaccine demand and supply forecast, cost-effect- iveness analyses, cost of illness studies, private willingness to pay for vaccines and estimation of vaccination costing.
