Benefit Cost Analysis guidelines workshop, Nov 2-3

Please find below an invitation to the workshop by the leadership team of the BCA guidelines project.

Dear Colleagues

On behalf of our Leadership Team (Lisa A. Robinson, James K. Hammitt, Dean Jamison, and David de Ferranti), we invite you to join us for a Methods and Case Studies workshop to support our project on developing reference case guidelines for benefit-cost analysis in global health and development. We are very pleased to announce that Larry Summers will be joining us for a conversation with Dean Jamison about the role of benefit-cost analysis in global health and development.

The workshop will be held on November 2-3, 2017 at Harvard’s Joseph B. Martin Center (77 Avenue Louis Pasteur, Boston, MA 02115). The workshop will begin at 8:00 AM on Thursday and end at 12:30 PM on Friday. We will discuss the draft methods papers and case studies and their initial recommendations to support the development of reference case guidance. More information on the project is available here: https://sites.sph.harvard.edu/bcaguidelines/.

The workshop is open to the public at no charge, but pre-registration is required. To view the preliminary agenda and hotel information, and to register, please visit https://sites.sph.harvard.edu/bcaguidelines/methods-and-case-studies-workshop/.

We also hope you will join us at the December Society for Risk Analysis Annual Meeting at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA. We will be discussing this project on Tuesday, December 12, from 10:30 am–12:00 pm, in Salon A.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Best,

Lisa A. Robinson
