The first TVEE workshop in Pakistan will focus on the modules of Health Economics, Economic Evaluation and Program Evaluation. It will be led by a multi-disciplinary team of experienced Economists, Health Systems Specialists and Vaccine Program Experts from Johns Hopkins BSPH University, Aga Khan University and WHO-EMRO.
Funding is provided for priority applicants working with immunization programs in Afghanistan and Pakistan through Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This covers tuition, training material, ACEC credits, travel and accommodation.
Limited seats are available for self-funded participants. Fees for local participants is PKR 30,000 and international is USD 300.00 inclusive of course fee, training material, AACME credits and workshop refreshments.

Jaipur, India – December 21-22, 2017
The first TVEE workshop in India will focus on the Costing of Routine and New Immunization programs. It will be led by a multi-disciplinary team of experienced Economists, Health Systems Specialists and Vaccine Program Experts from IIHMR University and Johns Hopkins BSPH University.
The program fee will be USD 312 plus service tax for foreign participants and INR 14,000 plus service tax for Indian participants, to cover participation in training, training materials, room and board. There are a limited number of scholarships available to participants to cover the cost of participation, travel, accommodation, and per diem. Priority for the scholarship is for applicants who work with vaccine and immunization programs in EPI programs in GAVI-eligible countries.
Kampala, Uganda – December 12-14, 2017
The second TVEE workshop will focus on Economic Evaluation and Program Evaluation of immunization programs. It will be led by a multi-disciplinary team of experienced Economists, Health Systems Specialists and Vaccine Program Experts from Makerere University and Johns Hopkins BSPH University.
The course has been supported by funding from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This support will cover up to 16 full scholarships distributed as follows: Uganda (8), Kenya (2), Tanzania (2), Rwanda (2) and Ethiopia (2). The scholarship will cover: costs of participation, return Air ticket (external participants), accommodation and meals, and a very small out-of-pocket (per day) on Kampala rates. Priority for scholarship is for applicants who work with vaccines and EPI programs in ministries of health and other organizations in GAVI eligible countries. The course will enroll up to 30 participants.
For those who may not benefit from the scholarship, the training fees will be US$250, to cover for meals (day), materials, and the training itself.
