WHO is currently soliciting proposals for nominations of two new experts to serve on The Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE).
SAGE is the principal advisory group to WHO for vaccines and immunization. SAGE reports to the Director-General of WHO and advises on global policies and strategies, ranging from vaccine R&D and vaccination recommendations to delivery of immunization, its linkages with other health interventions, and integration into health systems.
Nominations from the WHO South-East Asia and Western-Pacific Regions and nominations of women and persons from low- and middle-income countries are specifically encouraged. A track record of achievements in implementation research and social sciences would be of particular relevance.
