The WHO and UNICEF have published a national deployment vaccination plan (NDVP) guidance on developing a national deployment and vaccination plan for COVID-19 vaccines.
This guidance document is for national authorities who are responsible for managing deployment, implementation, and monitoring of COVID-19 vaccines, as well as partners who provide the required support. It is intended to support the ministry of health (MoH) of different countries as they develop the coordination mechanisms across all sectors of government and multi-stakeholders.
The objective of the guidance is to aid in designing strategies for the deployment, implementation, and monitoring of the COVID-19 vaccine(s). It also will help in ensuring the plan and related financing is well aligned to other national COVID-19 support plans.
