Session 3: Vaccine introduction —Key considerations

Introducing the concepts of health economics and economic evaluation with respect to policy and decision-making process.

  1. How to combine considerations of cost, safety, impact, equity

  2. Priorities for different stakeholders

  3. What influences vaccine hesitancy?

  4. Communicating efficacy, safety, and reasons to vaccinate

  5. Application to COVID-19 vaccine

Session 4: The Role of Vaccine Demand (Assignment)

  2. To understand the difference between cost versus benefit
