Polio Eradication in Pakistan

Dr. Closser is an Associate Professor and Medical Anthropologist and author of the acclaimed book, Chasing Polio in Pakistan: Why the World’s Largest Public Health Initiative May Fail. She will present an interactive case study aiming to diagnose and offer audience-driven suggestions for improving the success of polio eradication efforts in Pakistan.

Dr. Bishai is Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School and director of Teaching Vaccine Economics Everywhere
