Boost recently introduced the Bright Spots initiative to highlight stories of individuals and partners who have driven change and showcasing the best practices that drove that change. The stories will cover topics ranging from immunization in conflict settings to community engagement to bottom-up approaches to planning, and more. Recognizing that the is innovation happening at all levels of the system, the organization aims to shine a light on the work that is happening on the ground, inspiring immunization professionals everywhere to learn, adapt and take action in their own communities. The theme of this year’s Bright Spots – set to become an annual story-sharing competition – is partnering for impact.
Over the coming weeks, Boost will host a series of webinars featuring story submitters to highlight promising practices from selected Bright Spots stories. These discussions will be an opportunity to interact with and learn from peers. The first of these webinars will be held on July 30, 2020, at 8 am ET and will feature Solina Center for International Development and Research on their immunization service delivery work in the conflict zone of Borno State, Nigeria. Visit this page for more information and to register for the webinar.
