A master- or doctoral-level researcher position is available at the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) based in Seoul, South Korea, with a contract duration of 2 years. The successful candidate will conduct projects studying the global burden of disease and vaccines’ impact on cholera and typhoid fever using mathematical and statistical models.

The ideal candidate should have completed an MSc or Ph.D. in epidemiology, statistics, applied mathematics, health economics, or other quantitative fields. The position requires fluency in (or high interest in learning) a computer language R, good oral and written English communication skills, and interest in infectious disease modeling.
