Webinar: Who to Prioritize for COVID-19 vaccines?

Home > Webinar: Who to Prioritize for COVID-19 vaccines?

How best to prioritize COVID-19 vaccination within and between countries has been a public health, and an ethical challenge for decision-makers globally, especially given the vaccine supply is limited in the short and medium-term.

This webinar will discuss the results of mathematical modeling studies of the impact of prioritizing COVID-19 vaccination to different target population groups. The search identified 36 studies in various settings (low, middle, high-income settings), seeking to optimize different outcomes (deaths, cases, hospitalization, economic consequences), looking at various vaccine characteristics, and employing other modeling methods.

This study allows researchers and stakeholders to compare various strategies to identify the optimal vaccination groups based on the leading public health objectives and scenarios.
