HQ/IVB (Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals UHL) mission is ‘To promote the health and well-being of all people, in all countries, by advancing the impact of vaccines and immunization programs through partnership and leadership; policies and guidance; evidence and research.’
The senior technical lead will work with all immunization-related stakeholders to collectively deliver on the ambitious impact goals set for the next decade. The Senior Technical Lead will operate through a nimble virtual IA2030 secretariat between WHO/Unicef and CDC (including project management, M&E, and communication assistance).
Some of the required qualifications:

An advanced university degree in Public Health, medicine, or related field

A minimum of 10 years of relevant internationally professional experience in global health and communicable disease prevention, including at least five years of experience in the area of health policies and strategies related to program implementation

Concrete skills in the planning and coordination of multidisciplinary public health programs, which may include the implementation of public health/disease control programs
