Next steps for the Immunization Economics Community of Practice

Home > Next steps for the Immunization Economics Community of Practice

Immunization Economics was launched in 2015 as part of the EPIC Immunization Costing project and has since grown into an online information-sharing platform that connects thousands dedicated to studying the cost, financing, sustainability, efficiency, and value of global immunization. Our community of practice has grown to include over 3,000 experts representing over 250 organizations worldwide and our website is home to eight successful workgroups and projects. As our platform steadily grows, we are excited to share some upcoming changes.

At the beginning of 2022 as we closed the 10-year EPIC project, management of the website was transitioned to ThinkWell with the gracious and necessary support of the EPIC team. The incoming ThinkWell team, comprised of Laura Boonstoppel, Christina Banks, and Caroline Mohan, are community champions and look forward to further developing our website into an even more functional and globalized hub for your research, findings, and lessons learned. Informed by feedback from the 2021 community survey and input from our advisory board, we are working on reorganizing the content on our website to expand the reach of your resources and serve you better, as well as profiling more organizations on the website and offering more French language resources. We’re excited for the next phase of the Immunization Economics COP and making even more resources even more accessible to the global health community.

Thank you for building this community with us and for continuing to share your insights, knowledge, and findings. If you’ve recently produced something you’d like to share with the COP on our website, newsletter, and social media, please send us your submission via email at immunizationeconomics@thinkwell.global and don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.
