The World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF have commissioned a consultation to identify how immunization expenditure data is currently used and how it can be improved in the short- to medium-term to respond to the need of immunization and health sector stakeholders.
The consultation targets national policymakers in ministries of health and finance, global agency technical staff and policy analysts, donors, and targeted immunization or health budget civil society or not-for-profit organizations.
The findings will contribute to informing a five-year WHO/UNICEF strategy to improve the collection, quality, and use of immunization expenditure data across sources (for example, data from National Health Accounts (NHA), Joint Reporting Form (JRF), and country budget and expenditure records). The findings will help focus the strategy on improving the expenditure data that you, as stakeholders at all levels, identify as priority information necessary for decision-making.
The consultation should take no more than 10 minutes to complete, and can be completed in either French or English. Please submit your responses by July 14, 2023.
