Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Specific duties include:

 1.   Contribute to analytical work supporting the review of Gavi’s eligibility and transition model

 Support IFS and SPT teams in the design of alternative scenarios to refine eligibility criteria and approaches, including implications on number of eligible countries / birth cohorts under Gavi support / number of under immunized children targeted by Gavi support: 

  • Support analytics to develop high level options for Gavi’s sustainability model

  • Review and assess options for refining Gavi’s co-financing and eligibility and transition model

  • Analyse implications of alternative eligibility criteria

 2.   Contribute to assessing financing implications of high level options to refine Gavi’s eligibility and transition model

 Support IFS and Strategy teams in conducting analyses (including programmatic and cost implications) of high level options for adjustments to Gavi’s sustainability model,

  • Perform co-financing projections based on alternative co-financing and eligibility scenarios

  • Support the development of analytics to assess the different scenarios

  • Assess cost implications of the various scenarios.

 3.      Contribute to the implementation of a consultative approach to inform the review of Gavi’s eligibility and transition approach

Support IFS, SPT and Policy teams in engaging in a consultative approach in preparation of policy options for refining Gavi’s eligibility and transition approach

  • Support engagement with countries, Gavi Alliance stakeholders and other stakeholders

  • Support engagement across Gavi Secretariat teams

 4.   Contribute to the presentation of scenarios:  support the design of presentations of implications of refined eligibility and transition approaches for both countries and Gavi
