Dr Simon Procter is a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, with an interest in evaluation of vaccination strategies, including work on Full Value of Vaccine Assessments for Group B Streptococcus and next generation influenza vaccines. This work intersects the fields of health economics, epidemiology, and mathematical modelling of infectious diseases. Simon originally trained in chemistry and chemical physics in at the University of Oxford. This was followed by a period working in industry and healthcare consultancy, before completing an MSc in Public Health (Health Economics) and switching to a career in global health research.
