Dr Apurva kickstarted her career with the Ministry of Health, Government of India and later moved to UNICEF as a Routine Immunization Consultant. At UNICEF, Dr Apurva launched Urban Routine Immunization Strategy in urban areas of Maharashtra and her sound approach and innovations in supporting RI program has delivered sustainable outcomes in service delivery and coverage. She has intensely worked on health system strengthening and program implementation of Routine Immunization with immense contribution to government partners of rural, tribal and urban India.
