Mariam Johari is passionate and committed to improving the lives of populations by implementing innovative solutions which build capacity in the communities, institutions and systems that serve them. For the past 8 years, Mariam has worked closely with the Ministry of Health in Tanzania in different capacities, through different NGOs that she has worked with, focusing on strengthening health systems and contributing to building more resilient health systems. Mariam has experience in undertaking a number of consultancies for local and International NGOs. She holds a Masters in Public Health (Global Health) and a bachelors in Medicine.
