A Royal Society Science+ Meeting on ‘Vaccines and Antimicrobial Resistance: from Science to Policy’ will be held on April 29-30, 2024, with the support of BactiVac at the Royal Society in London, UK. The meeting, chaired by BactiVac Director, Cal MacLennan, and Dame Sally Davies, UK Special Envoy for AMR will bring together scientists and vaccine developers from academia and industry, global policy makers, regulators, and funders, from the fields of human and veterinary vaccines. Adopting a One Health approach, the meeting will review the science of how vaccines reduce AMR, identify research gaps in developing AMR vaccines and discuss policy in advancing development and equitable deployment of such vaccines.
