UNICEF has issued a request for proposals to select a supplier for the provision of implementation research to support the Child Nutrition Fund (CNF)-Gavi-UNICEF multisectoral initiative to reach zero-dose children in Ethiopia. The deadline is January 31, 2025 23:59 (GMT 1.00).

The goal of the Multisectoral Initiative to Reach ZD Children and Communities in Ethiopia (the Initiative) is to reach the most vulnerable children in underserved populations (internally displaced persons, urban poor, and pastoralists) with vaccination and nutrition services through a multi-sectoral approach and to strengthen community and primary health care systems for these communities.

The specific objectives of the Initiative are as follows:

  1. Improve reach and coverage of nutrition and immunization services.
  2. Build resilient primary health care systems.
  3. Strengthen resilience of vulnerable communities and households
  4. Generate evidence on strategies to effectively reach hard-to-reach ZD children and communities.
