The WHO Vaccine Evidence Compendium is a centralized, curated platform hosted on the NITAG Resource Centre, designed to help NITAGs, EPI managers and other vaccine stakeholders in gathering evidence necessary to support decision-making. It offers a single, user-friendly source of evidence that is updated twice a year in alignment with SAGE meetings.
The Compendium can be applied in various contexts, such as introducing new vaccines, selecting or switching products, and updating vaccine policies. By enhancing access to reliable evidence, the Compendium aims to strengthen policy decisions, build public trust in vaccines, and ultimately reduce mortality and morbidity from vaccine-preventable diseases.
