The CIMA (Children Immunizations App) is an innovative digital solution designed to enhance immunization programs and social equity in vaccination uptake, support healthcare providers, and elevate the vaccine delivery experience globally through a unique collaboration. The app aims to create unity and alignment between three key protagonists: parents, clinics/communities, and institutions (such as ministries), ultimately protecting the health of communities. Cima Care has been successfully implemented in various settings, including the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, Cameroon, and Rwanda. Cima Care offers a comprehensive, integrated solution for a complete vaccination program for children ages 0–18 months at $5.50 per child.
The platform can help clinics record and manage vaccination schedules, track immunization schedules, and send automated SMS reminders for upcoming appointments and alerts for missed vaccinations directly to parents, supporting timely vaccination, identifying those behind schedule, and enabling targeted interventions by community health workers
