Senior Research Fellow/Reader at the Center for Health Economics, University of York

The Centre for Health Economics (CHE) at the University of York is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Fellow/Reader in health economics on a full-time open contract. The successful candidate will have a research profile focused on economics applied to health, and a strong quantitative background.  The post would be to work across CHE’s research themes, including research in low and middle-income settings. Closing date for applications is May 26, 2025.

Development of an Investment Case for Ensuring the Long-Term Sustainability and Impact of the Universal Progressive Home Visiting (UPHV) Program in Uzbekistan

UNICEF in the Republic of Uzbekistan seeks consultancy services to develop an investment case for the Universal Progress Home Visiting Program. This case will provide a framework for sustainable financing and impact assessments of home visiting services for pregnant women and children aged 0-5.  

Call for nomination of experts to serve on the SAGE Working Group on Chikungunya Vaccines

Collective expertise needed in the working group

A broad range of disciplines relevant to:

  • epidemiology/public health expertise, particularly in low- and middle-income countries with high burden of Chikungunya;
  • infectious disease immunology;
  • vaccinology;
  • immunisation programme planning/management, implementation and monitoring;
  • vaccine impact modelling;
  • vaccine safety;
  • health economics.

 Only complete nominations received by 15 May 2025 will be considered.
