Alemnesh Angelo is a Senior Analyst at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) Ethiopia with a strong background in economics and over five years of experience in health financing and health economics including Cost-benefit analysis, value for money analysis, affordability assessments, investment cases for public-private partnerships in diagnostic services and medical oxygen, primary healthcare provider payment reform, hospital case-based payment design, and costing study on the zero-dose learning agenda. She has provided technical support to the Ethiopian Health Insurance Service (EHIS), the Ministry of Health (MoH), and the Ministry of Finance (MoF). Prior to joining CHAI, she worked with the Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA) on the Rural Finance Program, focusing on the National Financial Inclusion Strategy and improving access to finance for marginalized communities.
