Maria Verykiou joined Gavi the Vaccine Alliance as a Policy Manager in 2023. She is currently supporting the development of Gavi’s 6.0 Partnerships approach, and has previously led the evaluation of vaccine candidates under the Vaccine Investment Strategy 2024, the review of Gavi’s prioritization mechanism and funding policies. Her background is in health economics and has previously worked in research at Bocconi University, Italy.
