Call for participants: Delphi panel for vaccination frameworks

Home > Call for participants: Delphi panel for vaccination frameworks

Tufts Medical Center is moving forward on a project to develop measurable frameworks for assessing the broader value of vaccines by population (i.e., children, adolescents, adults). This work intends to extend prior efforts by integrating specific benefit measures and ascertaining how measures may differ for children, adolescents, and adults.

They are now working to secure participants in a Delphi panel, a scientific method for achieved expert consensus. The board will represent a structured process used to collect knowledge by:

  • Defining a problem

  • Developing questions for experts to resolve

  • Selecting a panel of experts, including academics and clinicians

  • Employing open-ended questionnaires

  • Performing controlled assessment and feedback, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, and

  • Follow-up using a series of surveys until an accord is established and summarized

The panel will culminate in (hopefully) an in-person consensus meeting. In addition, honoraria will be offered to eligible participants.
