The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is seeking a Social Policy and Health Economics Adviser (P5) based at the West and Central Africa Regional Office in Senegal. The adviser will work regionally to deliver integrated technical and programmatic advice on health economics and financing and report directly to the Deputy Regional Director.
The advertised position will provide strategic leadership to ensure that the Regional and Central Offices are well equipped to accelerate UNFPA’s shift from “Funding to Financing” and utilize economics evidence to advocate for effective investments to support UNFPA’s three transformative results, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) Program of Action.
