New publication in Vaccines mapping external financing opportunities for reaching zero-dose children

Home > New publication in Vaccines mapping external financing opportunities for reaching zero-dose children

A study in Vaccines maps external financing for immunization and primary healthcare in 20 countries with the highest numbers of zero-dose children, finding substantial variations in access to external financing to support immunization in high-burden countries. Large declines in childhood vaccination coverage and increases in the number of zero-dose children have been recorded since the COVID-19 pandemic, and this study from UNICEF researchers aims to promote transparency and donor coordination for the process of directing resources to aid recovery.
