Carol Kamya is a Health Economist with over a decade experience in health financing, health systems, health equity, monitoring, and evaluation. She has extensive experience in health economics research, resource tracking, cost effectiveness analysis, costing studies and budget impact analysis for health programs. Her research interests and experience revolve around maternal and child health specifically in immunization, malaria, HIV, and other infectious diseases. She is currently evaluating malaria chemoprevention alternatives for children with sickle cell anemia in east and Southern Africa. Carol enjoys developing innovative, effective, and efficient ways to integrate economic evaluation into diverse projects and turning complex data into actionable results that drive decision making and creative solutions.
