Equitable Access to Vaccines in Africa: Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic for Future Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response

The African Health Economics and Policy Association (AfHEA), in collaboration with the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), is implementing a collaborative project on equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines in Africa (ECOVA). Under this project, AfHEA and its partners are convening at the 4th International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA) in Rabat, Morocco, November 25 to 29, 2024, to share project findings and showcase research and policy progress on equitable access to vaccines in Africa. We are therefore pleased to announce a call for abstracts for a side event at the 4th International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA). We invite abstracts related to vaccine economics, vaccine equity, access, hesitancy, uptake, barriers to uptake, and the lessons that we can learn from the COVID-19 pandemic vaccination for future public health emergency preparedness and response.

The deadline for abstract submission is September 6, 2024. Find out more and submit your abstract using the link below.
